Drop-in: activities start at the School of Trades

On January 8th, the workshops organised by Euroform, within the Drop-in project, resumed with the active participation of girls and boys at the Professional School of Trades in Licata (AG) and Trapani. The Drop-in project - selected by Con i Bambini within the framework of the Fund for the fight against juvenile educational poverty - aims to support the transition to adult life of adolescents, helping and stimulating them to build their own life project.

The activities carried out at Scuola Professionale dei Mestieri represent a valuable opportunity for boys and girls who are acquiring new knowledge and skills, are developing their personal and professional abilities and, above all, are learning to work in a team and face the challenges of the world of work.

The Drop-in project's main objective is to counter the phenomena of early school leaving and school drop-out by providing young people with the necessary tools to develop their personal and professional skills.

The age range of the participating girls and boys is between 13 and 15 years: in Licata (AG) 10 boys (9 girls and 1 boy) are involved and in Trapani 10 boys (8 girls and 2 boys) are involved in the hairdressing workshop with a frequency of two meetings per week (Mondays and Wednesdays).

The Drop-in project is co-financed by the Peppino Vismara Foundation.
