Futurama, Finding Direction for the Future by Starting from One’s Own Potential
The Futurama project, implemented in Erice and Palma di Montechiaro and selected by Con i Bambini with co-funding from Fondazione Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, has come to an end. Through workshops, Job Shadowing experiences, and meetings with professionals and local businesses, hundreds of students have developed new skills and gained greater awareness in making educational and career choices. The project has also strengthened collaboration among schools, third sector organizations, and the productive sector, fostering a more connected and supportive local ecosystem.

In Palma di Montechiaro schools and local communities build new educational alliances
Following the Trapani event, the Futurama project arrived at the “G.B. Odierna” Higher Education Institute in Palma di Montechiaro with a participatory workshop bringing together schools, institutions and local stakeholders. Building on the educational needs identified through the school dropout dashboard, the initiative fostered new collaborations aimed at strengthening the educational community and supporting the growth and development of students.

Alcamo Becomes a European Laboratory for Sustainable Viticulture: Three Days of International Training with the STIV Project
Twenty-four participants from France, Italy, Spain and Serbia took part in the International Training in Sicily of the STIV project – Leveraging artificial intelligence to manage a Sustainable Transition In Viticulture (KA220-VET-127F6822), organised in Alcamo by the Fondazione Comunitaria di Agrigento e Trapani. From 26 to 28 May 2026, the city hosted a programme of training, exchange and field visits dedicated to the green and digital transition of the wine sector.
