FA BENE. Memorandum of Understanding Signed with CESIE

FA BENE. Memorandum of Understanding Signed with CESIE

Another memorandum of understanding has been signed, and with this, the network of the Community Foundation and the "Fa Bene" project expands and enriches.

The new partner is CESIE, a European study and initiative center inspired by the work of sociologist Danilo Dolci and his innovative educational methods based on nonviolence.

CESIE is implementing the project "Social Innovation in the Agri-food sector for Women’s Empowerment in the Mediterranean Sea basin, InnovAgroWoMed". The goal is to strengthen female employment and entrepreneurship and the business capacity in the agri-food sector, an industry closely linked to the identity of the Mediterranean region and with significant untapped potential in terms of innovation and growth (here is their call for the selection of aspiring women entrepreneurs or professionals in the agri-food sector).

The collaboration with the Community Foundation sees the paths of "InnovAgroWoMed" and "Fa Bene" intersect, a project of the Foundation that aims to reduce inequalities through food and through the job placement of people living in situations of fragility. Promoting employment in a “good and fair” food economy is a goal of both the Foundation and CESIE, a commonality for which joint initiatives will be developed between the two partners.

A heartfelt thanks to CESIE for this newly started collaboration.
