Restart, Beehive wins the business plan competition

Last Tuesday 6 December during the final Pitch-Battle of the Restart program, at the Banca Sicana Headquarters in Caltanissetta, the finalist teams challenged each other in front of a jury of experts and the Beehive Social Cooperative won the first prize of the business plan competition.

The Restart program was promoted by the Sicilian Federation of Cooperative Credit Banks and Confcooperative Sicily, to support social enterprise initiatives aimed at creating social cohesion.

Twelve business ideas arrived at the final stage and entered the competition for the assignment of cash and consultancy prizes (out of the twenty-four business ideas received in total). The reference ambitions of the twelve start-ups were the most varied, ranging from the sector of care and support to people to that of environmental protection; passing through urban regeneration and green productions, arriving at the reuse of waste products and the reduction of waste, and much more; all this perennially united by the common thread of technological innovation.
