Project objective

Our objective is to contribute to the development and strengthening of a concept of "citizenship", understood as belonging to the global community, pragmatically contributing to individual and collective change for the creation of a more sustainable and just world.

Target audience

The project targets the entire Calatino community: civil society, teachers, primary and secondary school students, local authorities.

Activities

The project promotes the definition and implementation of a territorial plan for global citizenship education for sustainable development, in collaboration with schools and other stakeholders on energy and waste management. To achieve this specific objective we implement a programme articulated in 3 results and 10 activities.

Result 1: Increased knowledge and awareness of territorial authority staff on Inclusive Green Economy (energy and waste)

Related activities:

Information and training for municipal staff on good waste management practices

Information and training for municipal staff on sustainable energy good practices

Dissemination of a manual with materials and good practices for small territorial authorities and co-design workshop

Result 2: Increased knowledge and awareness of students and teachers in the territory's schools on Inclusive Green Economy (energy and waste).

Impact

135 beneficiaries among staff and political decision-makers of administrations involved in Inclusive Green Economy training

15 municipal administrations participating in events and training on Inclusive Green Economy

1,460 students, teachers and school heads involved in training

At least 40 civil society members reached directly through events and workshops

300 migrants involved in training on sustainable development objectives

At least 4,000 vulnerable family members involved in energy poverty assessment and tackling

The project aims to promote a sustainable management of European agricultural resources, placing viticulture as a driving sector in the ecological transition. Through the use of artificial intelligence and innovative digital tools, the initiative intends to provide new skills to agricultural professionals and improve the training offer in vocational education and training (VET). With a collaborative approach between European institutions, agricultural producers and educators, the project seeks to strengthen the European network in viticulture, increase individual competitiveness and ensure an inclusive and sustainable transition towards new models of agroecological management.
