Bilancio Sociale 2021
La trasparenza è un principio cardine per la Fondazione di Comunità: caratterizza il nostro agire. Quindi il bilancio sociale è per noi uno strumento di rendicontazione delle responsabilità, dei comportamenti e dei risultati sociali, ambientali ed economici delle attività svolte. Di seguito trovate la "Lettera alla Comunità" con la quale presentiamo il senso del lavoro svolto nel corso dello scorso anno ed alla fine il Bilancio Sociale completo da poter scaricare e leggere.
Lettera alla Comunità: "Come posso aiutare?"
Una domanda semplice, immediata, rispettosa. Una domanda ricorsiva, che ha accompagnato il modo di concretizzare la nostra mission nel corso dell’anno appena concluso. L’anno dell’onda lunga della pandemia da Covid-19, l’anno dell’aumento delle disuguaglianze. Ci siamo posti accanto a persone e organizzazioni con questa postura, mossi dal desiderio di cooperare per costruire una visione condivisa, per condurre ad un’azione comune, per generare un impatto sostenibile.
E così il nostro “Come posso aiutare?” ha preso forma e vita nelle imprese sociali che abbiamo generato e sostenuto, nei ragazzi che abbiamo accompagnato lungo il loro percorso educativo e di crescita, nelle persone a cui siamo riusciti a garantire una seconda opportunità, nei tanti progetti per lo sviluppo sociale ed economico locale che abbiamo avviato e che raccontiamo nelle pagine che seguono.
La sfida che abbiamo accettato con il nostro lavoro quotidiano è stata quella di ricostruire l’orizzonte del “possibile” su cui l’azione di ognuno ha potuto innestarsi. Il nostro “Come posso aiutare?” si è consolidato intorno a persone, luoghi e alleanze in grado di costruire e alimentare quel bene comune fondamentale per lo sviluppo locale: la fiducia.
Sulla fiducia, l’infrastruttura più importante di cui la nostra comunità necessita, si basa l’attivazione, che è il presupposto di ogni cambiamento che affida alle persone il ruolo di protagoniste.
Per questo motivo abbiamo dedicato tempo ed energie a sostenere le comunità nelle specifiche azioni di costruzione e sviluppo di una visione comune, di crescita delle proprie competenze di progettazione, di creazione di alleanze strategiche ad impatto sociale.
Affinché questo impegno non si risolva in una molteplicità di storie di resistenza individuale, difficili da ricondurre all’interno di un’unica visione e azione comune, è stato importante definire l’orizzonte di senso, la strategia, entro cui dare vita ad idee e progetti. Questo orizzonte per noi è rappresentato dal paradigma della “Generatività Sociale” che si regge su quattro momenti che hanno dato visione e concretezza al nostro agire: desiderare, mettere al mondo, prendersi cura, lasciare andare. Sono lo stesso terreno nel quale la nostra Fondazione ha posto le sue radici.
La Fondazione di Comunità trova la sua ragione di esistere nello slancio generativo che porta ad avviare e ad accompagnare processi, più che ad occupare spazi. Il nostro “Come posso aiutare?” ha generato cambiamento perché ha innescato e accompagnato processi capaci di mettere al centro le persone, le loro energie, e il capitale di fiducia.

Transparency is a fundamental principle for the Community Foundation: it characterizes our actions. Therefore, the social report is for us an instrument of accountability for the responsibilities, behaviors, and social, environmental, and economic results of the activities carried out. Below you will find the "Letter to the Community" with which we present the meaning of the work carried out last year and, at the end, the complete Social Report available for download and reading.
Letter to the Community: “How can I help?” A simple, immediate, respectful question. A recurring question that has accompanied the way we have concretized our mission over the past year. The year of the long wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, the year of increasing inequalities. We have positioned ourselves next to people and organizations with this posture, driven by the desire to cooperate to build a shared vision, to lead to a common action, to generate a sustainable impact.
And so our “How can I help?” took shape and life in the social enterprises we have created and supported, in the youth we have accompanied along their educational and growth path, in the people to whom we have managed to guarantee a second chance, in the many projects for local social and economic development we have started and which we tell about in the following pages.
The challenge we have accepted with our daily work has been to reconstruct the horizon of the "possible" on which each person's action could graft. Our “How can I help?” has been consolidated around people, places, and alliances capable of building and nurturing that fundamental common good for local development: trust.
On trust, the most important infrastructure our community needs, is based the activation, which is the prerequisite for every change that entrusts people with the role of protagonists.
For this reason, we have dedicated time and energy to support communities in specific actions of building and developing a common vision, growing their project design skills, and creating strategic alliances with social impact.
To ensure that this commitment does not end in a multitude of stories of individual resistance, difficult to bring within a single vision and common action, it was important to define the horizon of meaning, the strategy, within which to give life to ideas and projects. This horizon for us is represented by the paradigm of "Social Generativity" which is based on four moments that have given vision and concreteness to our actions: desire, bringing into the world, taking care, letting go. They are the same ground in which our Foundation has laid its roots.
The Community Foundation finds its reason for existence in the generative impulse that leads to initiating and accompanying processes, rather than occupying spaces. Our “How can I help?” has generated change because it has triggered and accompanied processes capable of centering people, their energies, and the capital of trust.
