Drop-in, al via le esperienze per giovani con la prima tappa da nord a sud
Dal 3 al 5 maggio si è svolta nell’agrigentino la prima tappa delle esperienze di scambio per giovani previste dal progetto Drop-in con filo conduttore il tema “Bellezza e Legalità”. Il programma prevede - dopo questa prima tappa che ha portato 7 ragazze e ragazzi e 3 educatori di Lecco a conoscere il territorio del sud con l’impegno delle persone che lo vivono – la visita del territorio lecchese da parte di un gruppo di ragazze e ragazzi di Licata (AG). Nei tre giorni vissuti nell’agrigentino i ragazzi e gli educatori di Lecco hanno potuto conoscere l’impegno per la promozione dello sviluppo locale attraverso la bellezza e la legalità portato avanti quotidianamente da persone e organizzazioni.
Il progetto Drop-in – selezionato da [Con i Bambini](https://www.conibambini.org/)nell’ambito del Fondo per il contrasto della povertà educativa minorile - si pone l’obiettivo di sostenere la transizione alla vita adulta degli adolescenti, aiutandoli e stimolandoli a costruire un proprio progetto di vita.
Tutto è iniziato parlando di memoria ed impegno con la visita della Casa Museo del Giudice Rosario Livatino a Canicattì ed è proseguita con una breve cerimonia presso la Stele commemorativa perente sul luogo dell’uccisione del Magistrato e con l’incontro con Giovanni Lo Iacono, Presidente della cooperativa sociale a lui intitolata che produce lavoro attraverso la coltivazione dei terreni confiscati alla mafia.
Tappa obbligatoria è stata la visita guidata al Parco della Valle dei Templi. A seguire, insieme a dei ragazzi che seguono i percorsi professionali presso Euroform, i giovani lecchesi hanno svolto un workshop presso il laboratorio di cucina della stessa associazione. Si è poi proseguito con un incontro con le Missionarie Secolari Scalabriniane sul tema migrazioni e la successiva visita al laboratorio di falegnameria per l’apicoltura e l’inserimento lavorativo #apeoperosa della cooperativa sociale Al Kharub a Villaseta ad Agrigento. La sera è stata conclusa con una cena presso Ginger people&food e l’incontro con la chef Mareme Cissè. L’esperienza si è conclusa con la visita a Fam Cultural Park sul tema rigenerazione urbana ed educazione.

From May 3 to 5, the first stage of the exchange experiences for young people planned by the Drop-in project took place in the Agrigento area with the theme "Beauty and Legality". The program foresees - after this first stage that brought 7 youth and 3 educators from Lecco to get to know the southern territory with the commitment of the people who live it - the visit of the Lecco territory by a group of youth from Licata (AG).During the three days experienced in the Agrigento area, the young people and educators from Lecco were able to learn about the work to promote local development through beauty and legality carried out daily by people and organizations. The Drop-in project - selected by [Con i Bambini](https://www.conibambini.org/) as part of the Fund for the fight against juvenile educational poverty - aims to support the transition to adult life of adolescents, helping and stimulating them to build their own life project.
The experience began by talking about memory and work with a visit to the House Museum of Judge Rosario Livatino in Canicattì and continued with a brief ceremony at the Memorial Stele perched on the site of the Magistrate's killing and a meeting with Giovanni Lo Iacono, President of the social cooperative named after him that produces work through the cultivation of land confiscated from the mafia. An obligatory visit was a guided tour of the Valley of the Temples Park. Next, together with young people following vocational courses at Euroform, the youth from Lecco held a workshop at the same association's cooking workshop. This was followed by a meeting with the Scalabrini Secular Missionaries on the theme of migration and a subsequent visit to the carpentry workshop for beekeeping and job placement #apeoperosa of the Al Kharub social cooperative in Villaseta in Agrigento. The evening was concluded with a dinner at Ginger people&food and a meeting with chef Mareme Cissè. The experience ended with a visit to Fam Cultural Park on the topic of urban regeneration and education.
