Green Jobs: al via la seconda edizione presso il Liceo Artistico Don Gaspare Morello

Ha preso ufficialmente il via il 19 febbraio 2025 la seconda edizione del percorso formativo "Green Jobs - Laboratori didattici secondo il challenge-based method" presso il Liceo Artistico Don Gaspare Morello. Con la partecipazione di 40 studenti, l'iniziativa si pone l'obiettivo di sensibilizzare i giovani sui temi della sostenibilità ambientale e prepararli alle professioni verdi del futuro, attraverso un approccio innovativo e coinvolgente.

Il progetto **Sfide- Generazioni in Crescita**, sostenuto dall'Unione Europea nell'ambito del programma Next Generation EU e del Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza (PNRR), ha l'obiettivo di contrastare la povertà educativa e ridurre l'abbandono scolastico attraverso un approccio integrato che combina educazione formale e non formale.

Un'opportunità per le nuove generazioni

Dopo il successo della prima edizione, che ha visto un forte coinvolgimento degli studenti e ha portato alla realizzazione di tre giochi da tavolo a tema green, il percorso formativo si rinnova con nuovi partecipanti e nuovi traguardi. Il percorso, che si svilupperà nei prossimi mesi, offre ai partecipanti l'opportunità di acquisire competenze pratiche legate ai Green Jobs, ovvero quelle professioni direttamente connesse alla transizione ecologica. Durante i laboratori, gli studenti esploreranno tematiche legate alla sostenibilità ambientale, affrontando le sfide concrete del mondo del lavoro e acquisendo strumenti e conoscenze fondamentali per il loro futuro professionale.

Apprendere attraverso le sfide: il Challenge-Based Learning

Il cuore dei laboratori didattici è rappresentato dal metodo del Challenge-Based Learning, un approccio innovativo che stimola gli studenti ad affrontare problemi reali e a sviluppare soluzioni concrete per promuovere la sostenibilità. Questo metodo va oltre la teoria, coinvolgendo i giovani in esperienze pratiche di project design, problem solving e green economy.

Tra le attività previste, gli studenti parteciperanno a un Hackathon, un evento collaborativo in cui lavoreranno alla creazione di un gioco (analogico o digitale) per sensibilizzare i loro coetanei sulle opportunità offerte dai Green Jobs e sulle sfide ambientali globali. L'obiettivo è rendere il tema della sostenibilità più accessibile e comprensibile a tutti, attraverso un linguaggio interattivo e coinvolgente, includendo l’aspetto educativo del gioco.

Un evento finale per celebrare il percorso

Al termine del percorso, si terrà un evento finale che coinvolgerà sia i partecipanti della seconda edizione che quelli della prima, creando un'importante occasione di condivisione e confronto sulle esperienze maturate. Durante l'evento, gli studenti presenteranno i progetti realizzati, condividendo idee e soluzioni per un futuro più sostenibile.

Il progetto Sfide

Il progetto Sfide è finanziato dall'Unione Europea tramite il programma Next Generation EU - PNRR M5C3 - Investimento 1.3, che prevede interventi socio-educativi strutturati per contrastare la povertà educativa nel Mezzogiorno, con il supporto del terzo settore. Il capofila del progetto è Casa della Comunità Speranza (CCS), supportata dai partner Fondazione Comunitaria di Agrigento e Trapani, AVSI, Solidarietà ed Azione, Euroform, Zaffiria, l'I.C. “Borsellino-Ajello”, la Cooperativa Sociale Alma e l'I.C. “Grassa”.

The second edition of the training program "Green Jobs - Educational Workshops Following the Challenge-Based Method" officially began on February 19, 2025, at Liceo Artistico Don Gaspare Morello. With the participation of 40 students, the initiative aims to raise awareness among young people about environmental sustainability and prepare them for the green professions of the future through an innovative and engaging approach.

The **Sfide- Generazioni in Crescita** project, supported by the European Union under the Next Generation EU program and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), aims to combat educational poverty and reduce school dropout rates through an integrated approach that combines formal and non-formal education.

An Opportunity for the New Generations

Following the success of the first edition, which saw strong student involvement and led to the creation of three green-themed board games, the training program is being renewed with new participants and new goals. Over the coming months, the program will offer students the opportunity to acquire practical skills related to Green Jobs, the professions directly linked to the ecological transition.

During the workshops, students will explore sustainability-related topics, tackle real-world challenges in the job market, and acquire fundamental tools and knowledge for their professional future.

Learning Through Challenges: The Challenge-Based Learning Approach

At the core of these educational workshops is the Challenge-Based Learning method, an innovative approach that encourages students to face real-world problems and develop concrete solutions to promote sustainability. This hands-on method goes beyond theory, engaging young people in project design, problem-solving, and green economy experiences.

Among the scheduled activities, students will participate in a Hackathon, a collaborative event where they will develop a game (analog or digital) to help their peers understand the opportunities offered by Green Jobs and the global environmental challenges. The goal is to make sustainability topics more accessible and easier to understand for everyone through an interactive and engaging approach, incorporating an educational perspective into the game.

A Final Event to Celebrate the Journey

At the end of the program, a final event will take place, involving both participants from the second edition and those from the first edition. This event will be a valuable opportunity for sharing and exchanging experiences.

During the event, students will present their projects, sharing ideas and solutions for a more sustainable future.

The "Sfide" Project

The Sfide project is funded by the European Union through the Next Generation EU - PNRR M5C3 - Investment 1.3 program, which includes structured socio-educational interventions to combat educational poverty in Southern Italy, with the support of the third sector.
