I laboratori didattici sui Green Jobs del progetto Sfide: conclusa la prima edizione

Il 20 gennaio 2025, il Liceo Artistico Don Gaspare Morello di Mazara del Vallo ha ospitato l’evento conclusivo della prima edizione di Green Jobs - Laboratori didattici, un percorso basato sul challenge-based method per avvicinare i giovani alle professioni della transizione ecologica. L’azione si inserisce all’interno del progetto **Sfide - Generazioni in Crescita** e mira a sensibilizzare i giovani sui temi della sostenibilità ambientale e a prepararli per le professioni verdi del futuro, attraverso un metodo di apprendimento innovativo e coinvolgente.

Il progetto Sfide, sostenuto dall'Unione Europea nell'ambito del programma Next Generation EU e del Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza (PNRR), ha l'obiettivo di contrastare la povertà educativa e ridurre l'abbandono scolastico attraverso un approccio integrato che combina educazione formale e non formale.

Creatività e sostenibilità: giochi da tavolo per il futuro

Gli studenti nel corso degli ultimi mesi di implementazione del percorso hanno ideato e prototipato quattro giochi da tavolo ispirati alla sostenibilità ambientale. I giochi, creati con materiali semplici come DAS, cartoncini e penne colorate, integrano meccaniche che spingono alla riflessione su tematiche come la crisi climatica e la partecipazione attiva per un mondo più verde. Oltre alla progettazione, gli studenti hanno curato il design e i libretti di istruzioni, mostrando creatività e impegno nella realizzazione di prodotti originali.

Evento Finale: presentazione e feedback

Nella giornata conclusiva, i ragazzi hanno presentato i loro giochi a una giuria composta da membri dell’associazione La Taverna dei Giochi di Mazara del Vallo, che promuove l’integrazione e la coesione sociale attraverso la cultura del gioco. Durante la presentazione, i giochi sono stati testati e hanno ricevuto feedback costruttivi, utili per migliorarne l’efficacia e l’attrattiva.

Verso la Seconda Edizione

La prima edizione si è conclusa con successo, ma il percorso di Green Jobs non si ferma qui. Prossimamente, nuove classi del Liceo Don Gaspare Morello prenderanno parte alla seconda edizione, con l’obiettivo di ideare nuovi giochi da tavolo. Al termine, un evento unirà le due edizioni, permettendo agli studenti di giocare insieme ai prodotti realizzati, in un momento di condivisione e apprendimento.

Il progetto Sfide

Il progetto Sfide è finanziato dall'Unione Europea tramite il programma Next Generation EU - PNRR M5C3 - Investimento 1.3, che prevede interventi socio-educativi strutturati per contrastare la povertà educativa nel Mezzogiorno, con il supporto del terzo settore. Il capofila del progetto è Casa della Comunità Speranza (CCS), supportata dai partner Fondazione Comunitaria di Agrigento e Trapani, AVSI, Solidarietà ed Azione, Euroform, Zaffiria, l'I.C. “Borsellino-Ajello”, la Cooperativa Sociale Alma e l'I.C. “Grassa”.

On January 20, 2025, the Don Gaspare Morello Artistic High School in Mazara del Vallo hosted the final event of the first edition of *Green Jobs - Educational Workshops*, an initiative based on the challenge-based method designed to engage young people with careers in the ecological transition. This initiative is part of the project Sfide - Generazioni in Crescita and aims to raise awareness among young people about environmental sustainability while preparing them for green careers through an innovative and engaging learning approach.

The *Sfide* project, supported by the European Union under the Next Generation EU program and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), seeks to combat educational poverty and reduce school dropout rates through an integrated approach combining formal and non-formal education.

Creativity and sustainability: board games for the future

Over the past few months, students participating in the program designed and prototyped four board games inspired by environmental sustainability. Using simple materials such as modeling clay, cardboard, and colored pens, the games incorporate mechanics that encourage reflection on topics like the climate crisis and active participation for a greener world. In addition to conceptualization, students worked on the design and rulebook creation, showcasing creativity and dedication in producing original projects.

Final event: presentation and feedback

During the final event, students presented their games to a panel of judges from La Taverna dei Giochi, an association based in Mazara del Vallo that promotes social integration and cohesion through the culture of gaming. The games were tested during the event, and the students received constructive feedback to further improve the effectiveness and appeal of their creations.

Looking Ahead to the Second Edition

The first edition concluded successfully, but the journey of Green Jobs is far from over. Soon, new classes from the Don Gaspare Morello Artistic High School will participate in the second edition, aiming to create new board games. At the end of the second edition, a final event will bring together participants from both editions, allowing students to play and share their creations in a moment of collective learning and enjoyment.

The Sfide Project

The Sfide project is funded by the European Union through the Next Generation EU program - PNRR M5C3 - Investment 1.3, which includes structured socio-educational interventions to combat educational poverty in Southern Italy, supported by the third sector.
