“Impresa è Donna”, secondo posto per Fa Bene

Nella suggestiva location del Teatro Greco Romano di Catania, lo scorso 5 giugno, si è tenuto l’evento conclusivo del premio “Impresa è Donna”. Per Fa Bene Sicilia e la sua presidente e fondatrice Daniela Avanzato il secondo posto.

L’iniziativa, giunta alla sua quarta edizione, è stata ideata e realizzata dal gruppo Terziario Donna Confcommercio Catania ed ha l’obiettivo di raccontare e supportare storie di valore dell'imprenditoria femminile siciliana, dimostrando quanto il tessuto imprenditoriale femminile siciliano generi impatto positivo sul territorio.

Quest’anno il premio si è tinto d’oro, argento e bronzo, con il tema scelto della “Nuova Opulenza”, intesa come nuova e importante ricchezza che porta a grandi successi aziendali fatta di alleanze, condivisioni e contaminazioni tra aziende, persone e territori.

Tra tutte le candidature pervenute dall’intera Sicilia, una giuria d'eccezione ha scelto le 17 imprenditrici finaliste, che hanno avuto accesso alla premiazione finale. Daniela Avanzato, Presidente della Cooperativa Sociale di Comunità Fa Bene Sicilia, fra queste finaliste si è aggiudicata il secondo posto.

"La nuova opulenza ha a che fare con l'aspetto qualitativo, ha detto Daniela Avanzato. Significa non guardare al quanto ma al come. Per la nostra Cooperativa di Comunità significa non solo ricchezza economica, ma soprattutto ricchezza sociale e ambientale, con lo scopo di valorizzare il più possibile il nostro territorio dando testimonianza di una Sicilia capace, all'avanguardia, che sa fare bene e che vuole fare bene".

La Cooperativa Sociale di Comunità “Fa Bene Sicilia” nasce da un progetto di sviluppo ideato e realizzato dalla Fondazione Comunitaria di Agrigento e Trapani grazie al sostegno del programma “Azioni di sistema contro la povertà” di Caritas Italiana (Fondi 8xmille alla Chiesa Cattolica) e della Fondazione Nando ed Elsa Peretti.

In the evocative setting of the Greco Roman Theatre of Catania, on June 5, the final event of the "Impresa è Donna" (Business is Woman) award took place. For Fa Bene Sicilia and its president and founder Daniela Avanzato, it was a proud moment to secure second place.

The initiative, now in its fourth edition, was conceived and realized by the Terziario Donna Confcommercio Catania group and aims to tell and support valuable stories of female entrepreneurship in Sicily, demonstrating how the Sicilian female entrepreneurial fabric generates a positive impact on the territory.

This year, the award took on the themes of gold, silver, and bronze, with the chosen theme of "New Opulence," understood as a new and important wealth that leads to great business successes made of alliances, sharing, and cross-pollination between companies, people, and territories.

From all the nominations received from across Sicily, an exceptional jury selected the 17 finalist entrepreneurs, who had access to the final award ceremony. Daniela Avanzato, President of the Fa Bene Sicilia Community Social Cooperative, was among these finalists and secured second place.

"The new opulence has to do with the qualitative aspect," said Daniela Avanzato. "It means not looking at how much but how. For our Community Cooperative, it means not only economic wealth but above all social and environmental wealth, with the aim of valorizing our territory as much as possible, giving testimony to a capable, cutting-edge Sicily that knows how to do well and wants to do well."

The Fa Bene Sicilia Community Social Cooperative arose from a development project conceived and realized by the Community Foundation of Agrigento and Trapani, thanks to the support of the "System Actions against Poverty" program of Caritas Italiana (8xmille funds to the Catholic Church) and the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation.
