Primo Rapporto Italia Generativa

🇬🇧 English Version
A country with great potential, but focused on remaining poised in place, rather than launching itself towards the future that awaits it, thus dispersing its strength: this is the image of Italy that emerges from the 1st Italy Generative Report, presented in Rome, at the Senate of the Republic, on 12 January 2023.
An absolutely new work, edited by the Centre for the Anthropology of Religion and Generative Studies (ARC) of the Catholic University with the support of the Unipolis Foundation, and promoted by the COMM.ON Association, Generatività.it and the Alliance for Social Generativity.
The aim of the Report, the full version of which can be consulted on the italiagenerativa.it platform, is to highlight the areas of opportunity and of blocked development within Italian society, examining the social and economic dynamism of the Italian context in comparison with European countries.
The hope is to unblock the stalemate in which Italy finds itself, regenerating conditions conducive to a leap forward, becoming a society that is more mature and aware of its own history and, for this very reason, more capable of focusing on real priorities.
Social generativity offers, in this sense, a novel perspective in reading the economy and society, their relations and their developments.
Social generativity is also the socio-economic approach chosen to guide the activities of the Community Foundation of Agrigento and Trapani.
'To unlock Italy,' said Professor Mauro Magatti, a member of the Community Foundation's Steering Committee, 'we need to overcome the reductive idea of growth that is satisfied with exploiting short-term opportunities. It is no longer simply a matter of seizing opportunities, but rather of generating new ones: integral development is the condition for growth in the coming years'.
