Sou e Prime Minister: a scuola di opportunità
Insieme, grazie al crowdfunding di comunità, possiamo aiutare Farm Cultural Park a contrastare la povertà educativa nei giovani di Favara e della provincia di Agrigento attraverso la loro "Scuola di Opportunità". Al raggiungimento dell'obiettivo attraverso le donazioni, la Fondazione Comunitaria di Agrigento e Trapani cofinanzierà il progetto con un contributo pari al 70%.
Chi è Farm Cultural Park
Farm Cultural Park è una organizzazione culturale insediatasi 10 anni fa, nel centro storico di Favara, in provincia di Agrigento, per promuovere delle politiche sociali e culturali di significativo cambiamento e riscatto della comunità locale e dei giovani, improntate allo scambio culturale con artisti, creativi, architetti, giornalisti e visitatori di tutto il mondo, nonché attività educative legate all’urbanistica, all’architettura e all’ambiente, alla costruzione di Comunità, ma anche all’arte, al design, all’educazione alimentare che coinvolgono anche i bambini e gli adolescenti.
Il progetto da sostenere
SOU e Prime Minister sono delle attività educative rivolte ai bambini e agli adolescenti di Favara e della provincia di Agrigento con già diverse edizioni svolte a Farm Cultural Park: SOU è la Scuola di Architettura per bambini, legata ad urbanistica, architettura, ambiente e alla costruzione di comunità; Prime Minister, invece, è la Scuola di Politica per Giovani Donne, esperienza formativa incentrata sul tema della Politica. Per Sou sono stati coinvolti negli anni più di 250 bambini, 60 per Prime Minister.
Questa “Scuola di Opportunità” vuole fornire ai giovani e alle giovani partecipanti, attraverso dei workshop di architettura e cittadinanza attiva, delle competenze e conoscenze che possano colmare il divario sociale e culturale. Farm Cultural Park crede in ognuno di loro, crede nei loro talenti e nelle loro potenzialità e vuole investirci.
Sostenere la scuola significa regalare ad ognuno di loro la possibilità di farcela, la possibilità di credere e sperare in futuro migliore. Solo investendo nelle nuove generazioni domani possiamo avere dei cittadini più etici, onesti e migliori.
Il desiderio è quello di dare ai ragazzi uno sguardo nuovo e più attento sulle proprie vite, sulle proprie possibilità e sulla propria città attraverso lo sviluppo di competenze creative; costruire insieme un domani possibile.
Il progetto “Sou e Prime Minister: a scuola di opportunità” è stato selezionato nel **bando “Ripartenze inclusive”** della Fondazione Comunitaria di Agrigento e Trapani. La Fondazione ha creduto nell’impatto dell’iniziativa e, pertanto, finanzierà una parte del valore complessivo del progetto con un contributo donativo pari al 70%. Per la restante parte e, quindi, affinché questo progetto si realizzi, Farm Cultural Park ha bisogno del tuo supporto.
Cosa verrà realizzato grazie al tuo aiuto
Attraverso la raccolta fondi che Farm Cultural Park e la Fondazione Comunitaria di Agrigento e Trapani stanno promuovendo su For Funding si vogliono raccogliere 10.000 euro che permetteranno di sistemare uno spazio che sarà interamente dedicato ai ragazzi e alle ragazze e di acquistare strumenti e materiali al fine di potenziare tutte le esperienze educative. Si tratta di materiale didattico, materiale per riqualificare lo spazio e creare dei modellini (ad es. legname, viti, e materiale vario da ferramenta, nastro per penne 3D, etc.), ma anche dispositivi elettronici e software che consentiranno ai ragazzi di lavorare durante i laboratori.
Inoltre, verranno sostenute le spese per far incontrare ai ragazzi dei tutor straordinari che li accompagneranno durante il loro percorso formativo. Saranno circa 20 tutor ospiti, tra professori universitari, artisti e creativi.
I ragazzi che verranno coinvolti saranno 30 per laboratorio e, con loro, lavoreranno sulle competenze trasversali, prima fra tutto il saper lavorare in gruppo, ma anche la capacità di parlare in pubblico, di saper mediare e saper ascoltare.
Gli verrà fornito quanto necessario per accompagnarli durante uno dei periodi più importanti della loro vita, l’adolescenza, restituendo loro la dimensione della possibilità.

Who is Farm Cultural Park
Farm Cultural Park is a cultural organization that settled in the historic center of Favara, in the province of Agrigento, 10 years ago, to promote social and cultural policies of significant change and upliftment of the local community and young people. Their approach is based on cultural exchange with artists, creatives, architects, journalists, and visitors from around the world, as well as educational activities related to urban planning, architecture, environment, community building, art, design, and food education involving children and adolescents.
The Supported Project
SOU and Prime Minister are educational activities aimed at children and adolescents in Favara and the province of Agrigento, with several editions already held at Farm Cultural Park. SOU is the School of Architecture for children, focusing on urban planning, architecture, environment, and community building. On the other hand, Prime Minister is the School of Politics for Young Women, a formative experience centered around the theme of politics. Over the years, more than 250 children have been involved in SOU, and 60 in Prime Minister.
This "School of Opportunities" aims to provide young participants, through workshops on architecture and active citizenship, with skills and knowledge that can bridge the social and cultural gap. Farm Cultural Park believes in each of them, in their talents and potential, and wants to invest in them.
Supporting the school means giving each of them the chance to make it, the opportunity to believe and hope for a better future. Only by investing in the new generations can we have more ethical, honest, and better citizens tomorrow.
The desire is to give young people a new and more attentive perspective on their lives, their possibilities, and their city through the development of creative skills; to build a possible future together.
The project "SOU and Prime Minister: School of Opportunities" has been selected in the "Inclusive Restart" call for proposals from the Community Foundation of Agrigento and Trapani. The Foundation believed in the impact of the initiative and will finance a part of the total project value with a donation contribution equal to 70%. For the remaining part, and therefore, for this project to be realized, Farm Cultural Park needs your support.
What Will Be Achieved with Your Help Through the fundraising campaign promoted by Farm Cultural Park and the Community Foundation of Agrigento and Trapani on For Funding, they aim to raise 10,000 euros to:
Set up a space entirely dedicated to boys and girls and purchase tools and materials to enhance all educational experiences. This includes teaching materials, materials for refurbishing the space and creating models (e.g., lumber, screws, and various hardware materials, 3D pen tape, etc.), as well as electronic devices and software that will allow young people to work during workshops.
Additionally, expenses will be covered to have extraordinary tutors meet with the young people and accompany them during their educational journey. There will be approximately 20 guest tutors, including university professors, artists, and creatives.
The young people involved will be 30 per workshop, and with them, they will work on transferable skills, first and foremost, the ability to work in groups, but also the ability to speak in public, mediate, and listen.
They will be provided with everything necessary to accompany them during one of the most important periods of their lives, adolescence, giving them back the dimension of possibility.
